A painting appeared in the three year olds' classroom.
We did some research at home and we discovered that it was painted by Giuseppe Arcimboldo. We learned that he used fruits, vegetables and flowers in his paintings.
We did a lot of activities in his style such as portraits with cut-outs of fruits, vegetables and flowers and we coloured pictures like he did. We also played on line using the digital whiteboard. Not only did we have fun but we also learned that eating fruits and vegetables is very healthy.
