El miércoles 30 de octubre, 3º y 4º de Primaria salieron de excursión al Parque del Retiro donde no nos perdimos pasear por el lago donde están las barcas, estatuas y artistas de calle por todos sitios, El Palacio de Cristal que es un inmenso invernadero ornamentado de cristal construido aquí.
Esta salida ha sido interdisciplinar donde se ha trabajado no sólo la asignatura de inglés, sino también las de Conocimiento del Medio (flora y fauna) y Educación Plástica (dibujo de monumentos).
Los alumnos han conocido uno de los lugares más emblemáticos de Madrid. Como la excursión ha durado todo el día, tanto alumnos como profesores han tenido tiempo tanto para el aprendizaje como para disfrutar de la naturaleza y los amigos.
The Retiro Park
On Wednesday 30th October, 3rd and 4th grade of Primary went on excursion to The Retiro Park where we didn’t miss walking around the boating lake, statues and street artists all the way round, The Crystal Palace, which is a huge ornate glass greenhouse built here.
This has been an interdisciplinary excursion where our students could work on not only the subject of English but also Science (flora and fauna) and Arts and Crafts (drawing monuments).
Our students have met one of the most emblematic sites of Madrid. As the excursion lasted all day, both students and teachers had enough time to learn and enjoy about nature and their friends.
